Warm clothing for children this winter is a goal that has Mid-Sioux Opportunity Inc., partnering with local businesses.

Area residents may help the cause by purchasing a mitten at participating businesses for $1. Proceeds from the sale of the "mittens" will go toward purchasing hats, boots, scarves, coats and other warm clothing items for children.

Mittens may be purchased at the following businesses located in the five service counties of Mid-Sioux:

Le Mars -- 4 Brothers Bar & Grill or Mr. P's Pizza and Sports Grill

Remsen - Mrs. B's Convenience Store, American Bank, or Majeres Food Town
