Santa plans December hours in Le Mars

Area children are invited to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa's Palace in December.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the palace from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 5, 12 and 19.

Santa's Palace is located in the former Radio Shack building at 17 Central Ave. S.W., next door to Joba's.

Santa Claus will have a coloring book and crayons for each child who visits. Le Mars' Little Ambassadors will assist Santa, according to Mary Reynolds, Main Street director.

Mrs. Claus will be giving out sugar cookies.

The palace will be decorated with several Christmas trees and other holiday decorations, Reynolds said.

"Bring your camera and take your child's picture in the beautiful holiday setting," Reynolds added.

Santa's Palace is sponsored by Wells' Dairy and the Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce.

Santa will not be making a stop over the Thanksgiving weekend.
