In Le Mars there are no contested races and incumbents are running unopposed for mayor, three city council seats and two Floyd Valley Hospital Board of Trustee seats.
Mayor Dick Kirchoff is seeking a second two-year term.
Councilmen John Leonard (Ward 1), Ken Nelson (Ward 3) and Rex Knapp (council at-large) are seeking another four-year term.
Hospital trustees William Young and Craig Bauerly are seeking another four-year term.
Le Mars residents will vote at the Le Mars Convention Center.
Polls will be open from noon to 8 p.m.
Those will also be voting hours for the other 10 city elections' polls, which will be in their "regular" locations, said Cherie Nitzschke, Plymouth County deputy auditor.
There will be two exceptions.
The City of Oyens will have an election so there will be a polling place at the Oyens Fire Department.
There won't be any voting at Precinct 8, Perry Township Hall, because it is not a city, Nietzsche said.
People can vote absentee from 8-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Absentee ballots are still available at the auditor's office. The last day they can be mailed to people's homes is today (Friday).
So far, Nietzsche said, about 25 absentee ballots have been cast.
Le Mars residents will use voting machines to cast their ballots while those in all other precincts will use paper ballots.
