The couple will be honored at an open house Saturday, Nov. 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1430 Seventh Ave. S.E., Le Mars.
Parents of the couple are Sri Aidajati Weh and Bachtiar Tjandrasa, and Shirley Criswell of Le Mars and the late LeRoy Woehler.
Providing the nuptial music was Pam Avaux as pianist, Ellen Frank as violinist, and Darci and Bryan Lantz, soloists.
April Hauck was maid of honor, with Smita Rao, Dunny Noble and Jana Kirkpatrick serving as bridesmaids.
Flowergirl was Elfin Wiriyan, niece of the bride.
Best man was John Ott, with Steve Stupka, Mark Anderson and Kevin Anderegg serving as groomsmen.
Ringbearer was Adam Wallace.
The bride's personal attendant was K. T. Wiriyan, sister of the bride.
Seating the wedding guests were the bridegroom's nephews, Tyler Phelan, Justin Phelan, Matthew Jurgens and Joshua Jurgens.
The reception was held at Toad Valley Golf Course.
Both Suyau and Joel work at Principal Financial. She is an actuary and he is in commercial real estate and finance.
They are making their home in Des Moines.
