Todd and Christine Marzen

Christine Marzen and Todd Langel of Ankeny were united in marriage May 2, 009, at All Saints Catholic Church in Des Moines. The Rev. Robert Harris officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Sheila Marzen of Algona, the late Gregory Marzen of Marble Rock, and Rick and Marian Langel of Le Mars.

Organist was Mary Snyder-Grace Notes, and soloist was Shana Koenig, cousin of the bridegroom.

Matron of honor was Danielle Ullom of Inver Grove, Minn. Bridesmaids were Nicki Hardy of Humboldt, Heather Smith of Ames and Shellane Albaugh of Huxley.

Flowergirls were Anna Hardy of Humboldt and Pruett Ma of Washington, D.C.

Best man was Tyler Langel of Omaha, Neb. Groomsmen were Mike Murphy of Le Mars, Dane Merry of Omaha, Neb., and Chance Chesnut of Ankeny.

Ringbearer was Caden Chesnut of Ankeny.

Seating the wedding guests were Brett Sitzmann of Le Mars, Zosh Zeutenhorst oof West Des Moines and Tim Lillwitz of Ankeny.

The reception was held at the Polk County Convention Center Complex, with a cocktail hour at 3:30 p.m. and a dinner and dance following.

Christine is a 1997 graduate of Algona High School, and a 2001 graduate of Grand View College. She graduated with an MSN degree from University of Southern Indiana in 2007. She is employed as a nurse practitioner at Iowa Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Des Moines.

Todd is a 1999 graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School. He earned his bachelor degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University and his Juris Doctor degree from Drake University in 2005. He is an attorney with Faegre & Benson, LLP, Des Moines office

Following their wedding trip to Greece, the couple is at home in Ankeny.
