The Remsen Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence at 121 2nd Ave. N.E., in Le Mars, Wednesday, according to the police report.
During the search, property was recovered from two burglaries in Remsen, Majeres Foodtown and The Triangle Bar.
While assisting with the search, a Le Mars Police officer recognized items, including two rings, reported stolen last week from Bob's Drive-In, in Le Mars.
Between 1 a.m and 2:30 a.m. Thursday, July 23 the Le Mars Police issued a search warrant of its own for the residence, according to a Le Mars Police Department spokeswoman.
The two men arrested during the search were Michael Bliege, 19, of 121 2nd Ave. N.E., Le Mars and Trent Schoen, 19, of 117 Franklin St., Remsen.
The two subjects were both charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, all class D felonies, three counts of criminal mischief, possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana, according to the police report.
Both men are being held in the Plymouth County jail.
The investigation was a joint effort by the Remsen Police Department, the Le Mars Police Department and the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department.

Taking something that doesn't belong to you can be quite rewarding. Now they get free food, room and board. Is this what they wanted? maybe they learned a little bit about respect? probably not.
