Stacey Loemker of Beatrice, Neb., and Layne Britton of Le Mars, were married May 23, 2009, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Beatrice. Pastor Timothy Wagner officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Ken and Carla Loemker of Beatrice, Neb., Jack Britton of Clarion, the late Kay Anderson, and stepfather Allyn Anderson of Le Mars.

Grandparents are Irene Beethe of Steinauer, Neb., and Jack and Dovie Britton of Wever.

Matron of honor was Dr. Carissa Hoops of Pickrell, Neb. Bridesmaids were Jessica Schmidt of Maryville, Mo., Heather Oltman of Sauna, Kan., and Sasha Bruns of Carbondale, Ill.

Travis Harman of Ruthven served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Schettler of Dodge Center, Minn., Lee Barr of Sauna, Kan., and Chris York of Elko, Nev.

Ushers were Brian Hoops of Pickrell, Neb., Cory Brims of Carbondale, Ill., Mark Alfrey and Jared Hickman both of Independence, Mo.

Flowergirl was Kailey Waszak of Omaha, Neb., and the ringbearer was Lucas Gerstenberger of Grimes. Candlelighters were Kyle Dorn of Adams, Neb., and Adam Pinkerton of Beatrice, Neb.

Vocalists were Allyn Anderson of Le Mars and Bryce Anderson of Sanford, Fla.

A reception was held at Classic's at the Beatrice Country Club.

The bridegroom recently graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with his master's degree in geology. The bride is a social worker SIRSS.

The couple took a wedding trip to the Riviera Maya, Mexico and are now residing in Carbondale, Ill.
