Road repair means detour for drivers

A road resurfacing and bridge replacement will halt traffic on two county roads starting Monday.

Plymouth County Engineering Department will close C-16 from K-22 east to Highway 75 for asphalt resurfacing early Monday morning. The road will remain closed through late August.

Traffic will be detoured from C-16 south to Highway 3 and west to K-22.

Quartz Avenue will also be closed Monday morning from 200th Street north to 190th Street for a bridge replacement with a box culvert.

That portion of Quartz will remain closed about three weeks.
