Lady Panthers fall 12-1 to MV-AO

DeAndra Mahrt belted her fourth home run of the season to score the lone run for Kingsley-Pierson in Monday's 12-1 loss to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto.

The Lady Panthers registered five hits in the loss, led by Mahrt.

The freshman shortstop went 3-for-3 at the plate while Erin Klaschen and Jenn Henrich each added singles for K-P.

Jackie Hoppe took the loss in the circle with 3 2/3 innings of action. She surrendered one hit in the loss.

Taylor Green threw 3 1/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on 11 hits. She struck out one.

The Lady Panthers were in action on Tuesday night, hosting Galva-Holstein in Western Valley Conference action. Results from the contest were not available at press time.
