Jordan Heidebrink collected the win in the circle, tossing a two-hit shutout with seven K's.
Le Mars (20-9, 8-5) steps out of Lakes Conference action on Wednesday to play Class 3A No. 3 Sioux City Bishop Heelan - which defeated the Lady 'Dogs 7-3 at Saturday's tournament in Spencer. The contest will have an early start as the field at Briar Cliff University does not have lights.
The Lady Bulldogs return home on Thursday to face Cherokee in league play.
