Yes, it's been 40 years since the class of 1969 showed their success in NHS, academics, golf teams, music All-Staters, science, ag, languages and much more.
Forty years since the moon landing and cultural school trips to Europe, college jobs and now kids and grandkids.
So before the all-school reunion next year, let's get together in Foster Park Friday, July 3, from 6 to 9 p.m., for pizza and pop.
Just bring a story to share and laugh over, some photos (remember, like Kodak prints?), or a son to sing and remember.
Gather at the 1969 time capsule in the park (by the west sidewalk), or listen for the trumpeter at the statue, because the trumpet may really sound.
This invitation is initiated by the vice president of the class, David Bogenrief, as he is only home on a break this weekend from his overseas Christian work with his wife in Israel and Austria.
Classmates are also invited to meet after the 4th of July parade at the Veterans Memorial Park for some family greetings and fellowship.
