Boehmer-Bickford

Neil and Mary Boehmer and Carolyn Bickford of Le Mars and the late Daniel Bickford announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Alison Boehmer and Drew Bickford.

The couple is planning a 2 p.m. ceremony Aug. 8, 2009, at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars, with a reception following at the Willow Creek Golf Course Clubhouse.

Alison is a 2004 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently substitute teaching and is working part-time at Bob's Drive-In.

Drew is a 2002 graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School. He graduated from Briar Cliff University in 2006 with bachelor of science degree. He is employed at Wells' Dairy, Inc., as a microbiology lab technician.
