Thompson-Levasseur

Wade and Betty Thompson of Le Mars announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kristina Raye of Sioux City, and Charles Paul Levasseur of Sioux City. He is the son of Vicki Levasseur and Paul Levasseur, both of Sioux City.

The couple is planning an Aug. 29, 2009, wedding at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Sioux City.

Kristina graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1998 and is employed at Wal-Mart in Sioux City.

Charles graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City in 1997, and is employed at Sioux Plating in South Sioux City, Neb.
