Phelps took first in the discus with a spin of 103-9 1/2 while Rodgers placed third in the event with a throw of 88-6 1/2.
The pair flipped things around in the shot put as Rodgers claimed the top spot with her toss of 36 feet even. Phelps was fourth with a throw of 31-6.
The sick and ailing Lady Rockets earned more team points from Tasha Wurth as she crossed second in the 100-meter hurdles. Wurth's clocked a 17.87 in the race.
K-P was third in the sprint medley as they took a seventh-place team finish on the night.
Phelps joined DeAndra Mahrt, Dani Sudbeck and Brianna Hobbs to clock a third-place 2:02.42 in the relay.
The Le Mars girls also competed Thursday evening, placing fifth in team standings.
Leading the Lady Bulldogs was Jess Arnold who was second in the open 400 in 1:05.50.
Kirstie Ruhland was third in the 100 hurdles in 18.17 and third in the long jump with a leap of 14 -4 1/4.
Arnold cleared 4-8 in the high jump to place fourth while Nikki Sluiter was fifth at a height of 4-8.
