During his early years, he enjoyed all the neighborhood card games that he and Delores belonged to. He enjoyed dancing and listening to polka music, and having coffee with his friends. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jim had many major illnesses in his life and with the Grace of God always bounced back.

Jim had a joy in his smile, a gentle strength in his touch, and devotion unlike any other. He had wisdom for living and no end to his giving. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
