The event is hosted by the Le Mars Community Schools guidance office and will be presented by a representative of the Iowa College Access Network (ICAN).

The evening is an opportunity for students and parents to get their questions answered about the college planning process.

Topics included in Monday's presentation are: Preparing for college; What to consider when choosing a college; How to compare colleges; what to look for and ask during campus visits; and an overview of the financial aid process.

ICAN College Planning Centers provides free information and support to students and their families as they plan their postsecondary education and apply for financial aid.
