Churches plan 14th Annual Ecumenical Evening of Song

Singers and choirs from many churches in the community are bringing their voices together again for the 14th Annual Ecumenical Evening of Song at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in St James Catholic Church of Le Mars.

Church choirs that are scheduled to perform are First Baptist, Calvin Christian Reformed, Christ Lutheran-Grant Township, St John's American Lutheran, St John's American Men's Chorus, United Methodist Church of Le Mars, Presbyterian United Church of Christ, and St James Catholic.

The Brass Ensemble of St John's American Lutheran and Jan Klein and violin students will also be performing.

Refreshments will follow the concert in the church hall.

The concert is free -- there is no admittance fee. Guests are asked to bring a non-perishable item for donation to the Christian Needs Center.
