Chamber dinner is 'Live from Le Mars'

"Life from Le Mars - It's Saturday Night!" is the theme for the 2008 Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner.

The Jan. 31 dinner features awards, entertainment, and a time for socializing and wine tasting at the Le Mars Convention Center.

The evening starts with wine tasting at 6 p.m., followed by the program and dinner at 7 p.m.

Providing entertainment for the evening will be the Le Mars Community High School Crimson and Black Show Choir and Gehlen Catholic Schools' fourth, fifth and sixth grade select choir.

Dave Smetter and Angie Watson will take the stage to lead the audience through the evening's program and offer some entertaining quips.

Chamber Employees of the Month and Boss of the Quarter recipients will be recognized during the evening.

Special awards during the program will be the Business of the Year Award and the Citizen of the Year Award.

Reservations for the dinner may be made by calling Sue at the Chamber, 546-8821 no later than Jan. 26. Reserving a table is an option for Chamber members as well.
