Magdalene and Titus Landegent

Magdalene Biesanz and Titus Landegent were united in marriage Nov. 29, 2008, at Christ Community Church in Sioux Center. Pastor Randy Widbin officiated the 4 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Francis and Rebecca Biesanz of Sleepy Eye, Minn., and Dale and Ruth Landegent of Sioux Center.

Rebecca Biesanz was her daughter's matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Dorothy Ruppert of Currie, Minn., grandmother of the bride.

Dale Landegent, father of the bridegroom, was best man. John Landegent of Sioux Falls, S.D., grandfather of the bridegroom, was groomsman.

Seating the wedding guests were Elisha Biesanz and Isaiah Biesanz, brothers of the bride, Bryan Shicks, uncle of the bridegroom, and J.B. Shicks, cousin of the bridegroom.

The dinner reception followed in Sioux Center.

Magdalene is a graduate of Northwestern College where she earned degrees in English and writing. She is employed as editor at the Le Mars Daily Sentinel.

Titus is a graduate of Northwestern College with a double major in elementary education and elementary music, with an elementary reading specialty. He is employed as a fifth grade teacher at Hinton Community Schools.

Following their wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Le Mars.
