Jacqueline and Luke Novak

Jacqueline Nichole Rhodes of Le Mars and Luke Allen Novak of Belle Plaine were united in marriage May 24, 2008, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Kevin Richter officiated the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Barb Rhodes of Le Mars and the bridegroom is the son of Keith Novak and Denise and Larry Weeda of Belle Plaine.

Tracy Novak, aunt of the bridegroom was organist and soloist was Nick Novak, cousin of the bridegroom.

Melissa Janning of Le Mars was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Loutsch of Remsen, Jaecy Reardon of Le Mars, Sarah Williamson of San Francisco, Calif., and Megan Reistoffer of Le Mars.

Madison Mousel of Le Mars was flowergirl.

The bride's personal attendants were Rachelle Langel and Amy Kleihauer of Le Mars.

Justin Collingwood of Belle Plaine was best man. Groomsmen were Lance Weeda and Adam Stamp of belle Plaine, Jeremy Rhodes of Le Mars and Michael Decker of Rochester, Minn.

Ringbearers were Adam Berkenpas and Ethan Mousel, both of Le Mars.

Seating the wedding guests were Dustin Sitzmann of Le Mars, Brandon Porter of West Des Moines, Brandon Kurovski of Belle Plaine and Ross Wetjen of Apple Valley, Minn.

The dinner and reception was held at the Willow Creek Country Club.

Jacqueline is a 2004 graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School in Le Mars, and a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University. She is employed as a teacher at St. Mary Star of the Sea.

Luke is a 2004 graduate of Belle Plaine High School in Belle Plaine, and a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University. He is employed as an aerospace engineer at Analytical Mechanics Associates at NASA Langley Research Center.

Following their wedding trip to the Black Hills, the couple is at home in Hampton, Va.
