Powell-Westhoff

Clayton and Suzy Powell of Pierson announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Powell, to Zachary Westhoff, both of Ames. Zachary is the son of Rick and Kris Westhoff of Le Mars.

The couple is planning a Dec. 27, 2008 wedding at United Methodist Church of Le Mars. The reception will follow the ceremony at the Brunsville Legion.

Jill is a 2005 graduate of Kingsley-Pierson High School. She will graduate from Iowa State University in May 2009 with a degree in logistics and supply chain management and finance.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Le Mars Community High School. He will graduate in May 2009 from Iowa State University with a degree in animal science pre- veterinary option.
