Rodney and Sarah Renken

Rodney and Sarah Renken of rural Le Mars will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a dance at the Brunsville Legion Hall, from 8 p.m. to midnight with music by The Senders.

Hosting the event will be their children: Jackie and Bill Rieken of Le Mars, Christy and Tom Sims of Tea, S.D., Steven and Shannon Renken of Le mars, and Sandra Renken and Nick Johnson of Ireton. The couple has five grandchildren.

Rodney Renken and the former Sarah Angeline Kumm were married Nov. 30, 1968, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Brunsville.
