Parents of the couple are Larry and Barbara Horky of Sioux City and Robert and Doris Gengler of Remsen. Special guests at the wedding were Ted and Jeannie Hawley of Vail, grandparents of the bride and Florence Schroeder and Marge Gengler of Remsen, grandmothers of the bridegroom.
Matrons of honor were April Peschel and Shelly Uhing. Bridesmaids were: Karen Mathison; Michele Schorg and Jill Bork, sisters of the bridegroom; Jennifer Gengler, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; and Becky Teut.
Junior bridesmaid was Taryn Ham, niece of the bride.
The bride's personal attendants were Janie Stanek and Gwyneth Gray.
Best man was Keith Gengler, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Steve Klein; Terry Schorg, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Todd Horky and Eric Horky, brothers of the bride; Derek Teut, and Chad Bork, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
Junior groomsman was Wesley Schorg, godson of the bridegroom.
The flower girl was Ellie Gengler, goddaughter of the bridegroom.
Ring bearer was Kaleb Horky, son of the bride.
Seating the wedding guests were Steve Ruden and Jeremiah Gray. Junior usher was Brayden Bork, godson of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the Le Mars Convention Center.
Heidi graduated from Sioux City East High School and is currently employed by Tyson Fresh Meats as a distribution planner.
Ken graduated from Remsen St. Mary's and also Wayne State College and is currently employed by Amerikit Technology Solutions as the financial operations manager.
The couple took a wedding trip to Las Vegas and resides in Sioux City.
