And they're from Nebraska.
Meet Remedy Drive, the band of four brothers from Lincoln who will be rocking the stage at Le Mars Assembly of God Church at 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a free concert.
The newly-signed rock group has been playing together since five years ago, when they decided to quit their jobs roofing and washing windows and see if they could make it as a band.
Now the brothers are touring to spread the word about their fourth album, just-released "Daylight is Coming."
They wrote 60 songs for it and had to narrow the list to 11.
"We wrote a record with the theme of hope," said Remedy Drive member David Zach. "Our hope is not in the economy. It's not in rock in roll. It's in a kingdom that i don't know much about."
The brothers are not theologians or know-it-alls, he explained, but they do know one thing.
"There's hope," Zach said. "I don't know why it's dark before the morning,
but I know there's hope."
Being a band of brothers can be a strength and a challenge, Zach said.
"There's chemistry and familiarity when you've known someone 29 years instead of five," he said.
It can be a weakness if they take it for granted, he said.
"But on the positive side, the most obvious thing is there's a blend of vocals," Zach said. "There's a oneness that's thicker than water, a purpose."
Part of that purpose is their message of hope.
And the rest of it?
"We just love music," Zach said. "There's something about music that moves the heartstrings in a crowd of 1,000 or a crowd of 100 to sing at the top of their lungs. There's something magical I can't even comprehend."
That, he said, is why they travel full time and spend days away from their families.
"We just want everybody coming to know it's bigger than rock music," Zach said. "What if we can start something that's based on hope -- a community based on more than rock and roll, something more than ourselves."
Remedy Drive will perform at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Le Mars Assembly of God Church at 126 Third Street S.W.
