"My life has been personally affected by addictive behavior," said Sherri, who wished to keep her last name confidential, is serving as facilitator for the support group.

"I was alone, with no one to talk to. No one knew what I was going through," she explained.
She doesn't want others to have that same feeling.
"A lot of this is coming from my personal experience and what has helped me," she continued.
The group is set up to offer a healthy way to cope with feelings such as grief, denial, anger and the many other emotions that overtake individuals.
The group will meet the first and third Mondays of the month at Le Mars Church of Christ, 1333 Adler Drive.
Plans call for a certified counselor to be at the meeting, with information, reading material and other resources available. The group is also drawing on two resources, Grace Rivers and Living Stones Ministry.
