Tacey Walburg and Paul Arens of Spirit Lake announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Terry and Darla Walburg of Hartley and Ray and Dolores Arens of Le Mars.

The couple is planning an Oct. 4, 2008, ceremony at 3 p.m. at the Lake Park United Methodist Church. The reception will follow at 5 p.m. at Cutty's Resort in Okoboji.

Tacey is employed at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake as the nursing scheduling coordinator.

Paul is employe at Lakes Regional Health in Spirit Lake as a paramedic specialist.
