The classic car, truck and cycle cruise starts from the Le Mars Community High School parking lot at 7 p.m.
The cruise will be led this year by the American Legion Riders motorcylists with the flags," said McGuire.
All drivers will have the option of cruising the entire Central Avenue north to the loop or to turn to Olson Cultural Event Center and park their classic beauties for show.
The cruise is a date on the Tri-State Drive-In Cruisers calendar each year, adding a number of participants to the event.
On the Olson Cultural Event stage will be the Velaires, playing hits from the 50s and 60s from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Velaires were inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame in 1997, the first year of inductions for the association. The group started their career in Sioux City as the Screamers, which quickly turned into the Flairs. Since numerous groups had that same name, the group became the Velaires after playing the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines.
"We're excited about our Scoop da Loop evening activities," said McGuire.
The event is sponsored by Main Street Le Mars, and is funded by Hotel/Motel Sales tax funds.
"We also appreciate our sponsors, the Pork Producers for grilling and Hy-Vee, Fareway, Chesterman's, First National Bank and Wells' Dairy for their contributions to making this a fun evening for all ages," McGuire said.
McGuire also reminds everyone that the Farmers Market will be open from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Olson Cultural Event Center.
