A Kingsley-Pierson woman has pulled out of her district's school board race.

Susan Edgar, who filed papers to run for the Kingsley-Pierson District 4 seat, decided this week to step out of the race.

Her decision cuts the number of people running for the seat from three to two.

Bobbi Hirschman and Jerrod C. Olson remain in the running. Dist. 4 incumbent Cindy Inman is not running for re-election.

Three candidates are still vying for the other open seat on the Kingsley-Pierson school board.

Incumbent Clayton Powell, Amy Hill and Tim Reis are running for the District 2 seat.
