Registration open at Gehlen until Aug. 13

Registration is underway at Gehlen Catholic Schools for the 2008-09 school year and will continue through Aug. 13.

Families may stop at the school during regular office hours of Monday through Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., to purchase lunch tickets, bus passes, activities tickets and pay tuition.

Families may also apply for local tuition assistance at that time.

Msgr. Lafferty Tuition Foundation dollars are still available for newly registering families. Applications are available at the Gehlen Catholic office.

Orientation for students in grades seven to 10 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the Gehlen Catholic gym.

Orientation for high school juniors and seniors will also be held that day in the gym from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Students are expected to report to orientation in dress code.

Open house for students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20.

The first full day of classes for all Gehlen Catholic students is Thursday, Aug. 21
