Eileen and Kenneth Lubben

Kenneth and Eileen Lubben will observe their 60th wedding anniversary June 25, 2008. No special celebration is planned.

Kenneth Lubben and the former Eileen Ruth Chamberlain were united in marriage on June 25, 1048, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. L.L. Belk officiating. They have resided in Le Mars their entire married life. Eileen has worked at the B&B Store and retired from Spurgeon's in Le Mars. Kenneth served his country in military service from January 1943 to January 1946, and was assigned to overseas duty with Gen. Patton's 3rd Army. He retired from work at Lampert's in Le Mars. He is also a 61-year member of the American Legion.

The couple has two children, Michael Richard Lubben, who is deceased, and Patricia Ann Lubben of Le Mars, and one granddaughter, Rachel Grace Lubben.
