Hotel/Motel Tax special meeting next week

A meeting next Tuesday will offer information for groups seeking Hotel/Motel Tax dollars.

The Le Mars Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Board is hosting a special meeting to learn about proposed improvement options for tourism and community development in the City of Le Mars.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in the city council chambers at City Hall in downtown Le Mars.

It is open to the public.

Current Hotel Motel Sales Tax Advisory Board members will be on hand to present the proposal and to answer questions.

Especially encouraged to attend are representatives of non-profit groups that have received Hotel/Motel Sales Tax funding in the past and/or are considering applying for project funding in the future.
