At the primary election, voters will choose either a Democrat or Republican ballot. Voters may change their party affiliation at the polling site, according to deputy auditor Cheri Nitzschke. "This will change their party at that time, and they cannot change back until after the (primary) election is over," she explained.

Mailed in absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday, June 2. Absentee ballots may also be hand-delivered to the auditor's office up until 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 3.

Precinct 1 - Akron Library Conference Room
Precinct 2 - Craig City Hall
Precinct 3 - Le Mars Public Library
Precinct 4 - Brunsville Legion Hall
Precinct 5 - Remsen Library
Precinct 6 - Westfield Community Center
Precinct 7 - Merrill Civic Center
Precinct 8 - Perry Township Hall
Precinct 9 - Hinton Community Center
Precinct 10 - Kingsley Community Center
Precinct 11 - Le Mars Convention Center
Precinct 12 - Le Mars Convention Center
Precinct 13 - Le Mars Convention Center
Plymouth County residents who do not know which precinct they vote in may call the Plymouth County Auditor's office at 546-6100.
