The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
"We want to show people some of our equipment here, some of the things we do, let them know what's available," said Gary Junge, disaster services director. "Many people aren't aware of the things we're able to do."
The members plan to display vehicles, equipment and trailers, and to give tours of the storm center, the hub where local disaster services members monitor severe weather.
The open house comes at a good time for weather awareness, Junge said.
"It's spring and it's storm season. We want to remind people that it's a wonderful time, but it also can be dangerous," he said. "We want to get information out on that and what's available here."
During the open house, visitors can register to win door prizes like weather radios and an emergency kit. The drawing will be held at 1 p.m.
