Supervisors approve deputies' salaries for 2008-09

Plymouth County Sheriff deputies' salaries and others were approved Tuesday for 2008-09.

The Plymouth County Supervisors approved salaries for the sheriff deputies, the deputy recorder, the auditor's deputies, the tax, motor vehicle and driver's license deputy, and the assistant Plymouth County attorney.

Each of the deputies' salaries, which don't include benefits, are calculated at a percentage of the head of their departments.

For example Sheriff Mike Van Otterloo's salary was approved at $72,182 and his chief deputy

Craig Bartolozzi's salary was set at $61,354 or 85 percent of the sheriff's.
