Elizabeth Pick, a former Remsen area resident, and Jeremy Bixby were united in marriage Dec. 22, 2007, in St. Louis, Mo.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Guy and Sandy Pick of Iowa City, formerly of Remsen, and Jeremy is the son of Larry and Karen Bixby of Florissant, Mo.

Both Jeremy and Elizabeth graduated May 10, 2008, from Rice University in Houston, Texas, where they earned master's degrees in political science.
