Henry and Florence Bader of rural Plymouth County, announce the engagement of their son, Harry Bader to Patsy Kennedy daughter of Patricia and Raymond Kennedy of New York City.

Patsy is the Tajikistan Count Director for the international humanitarian organization Mercy corps. Harry Bader is currently the Count Director of the congressionally created National Democratic Institute inTajikistan.

The couple became engaged in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. They are planning an Oct. 4, 2008, wedding on Cape Cod, Mass.

They intend to share time living in Fairbanks, Alaska and Washington D.C. as well as to continue working occasionally on assign overseas Ms. Kennedy has previously been Posted in Uzbekistan China, Rwanda Georgia, and Thailand. Mr. Bader has served in Bosnia, Iraq, Ukraine and Rwanda.
