Shooting a team 238, the Lady Bulldogs couldn't clip enough strokes to defeat their hosts, who totaled 199 on their team scorecard.

Behind them were a pair in the low 50s for Emmetsburg--Abby Bird had a round of 51 while Sara Schany carded a 52.
Megan Myers (56) and Tori Heldt (58) had the non-counting scores for Emmetsburg.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by a pair of 57s from Rachael Trammel and Emily Plantz.
Adrianne Kessenich carded a 59 while Kayla TenNapel recored 63 strokes on the nine holes.
A pair of non-counting scores came from Steph TenNapel (64) and Megan Betsworth (65).
Western Christian brought only three golfers to the double dual, therefore failing to record a team score.
The Wolfpack was led by Steph VanHolland with a 59. Jessica VanHolland carded a 60 while Rebecca VanMaanen had a round of 61 for Western.
Steph Betsworth bested her varsity teammates as she shot a round of 54 in junior varsity play. Gail Bauler also played for the JV, carding a round of 74.
After Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs are at .500 with a dual team record of 5-5.
They will compete at the Lakes Conference meet today at Okoboji Vu Golf Course.
Starting Thursday, Le Mars will play three in a row, hosting a dual with Sioux City North Thursday and then playing at the Sheldon and Storm Lake Invites Friday and Saturday.
