Patrick and Cam Niichel of Spirit Lake announce the engagement of their daughter, Carly Niichel, to T.J. Caravan, son of Bill and Bonnie Caravan of Le Mars.

They plan a June 21, 2008, wedding at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Alton.

Carly is a 2007 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. She is a caseworker at Lutheran Services of Iowa.

T.J. is the assistant service manager at Don Pierson Ford in Spencer.
