The 6th Grade Band will then share their selections of "Ancient Dances," "Friends of Freedom March" and "Louie, Louie." Both of these bands are under the direction of Randy Benton.

The Middle School Concert Band of 7th and 8th graders combined, will share four selections, "Peace Jubilee March" (a King march), "James Bond Medley," "Cruisin'" and the overture - "Canticle of the Saints," under the direction of Mary Kay Benton.

The High School Big Red Band will share their state large group selections - "First Suite in Eb" by Gustav Holst and "The Klaxon March" by Henry Fillmore. The high school band is under the direction of Curt Ohrlund.

They will be participating in High School State Large Group Contest on Friday, May 2, which will be hosted by LCS. The 5-12 bands are also assisted by Cliff McMurray.

The 5-12 bands will end the program with a combined patriotic selection "American Spirit Overture."

The instructors and students encourage the public to come enjoy an evening of music and support the bands.
