Michael and Linda Klein of Remsen and Richard and Ann Pick of Le Mars announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Amy and Josh.

The couple is planning a 2 p.m. ceremony on June 7, 2008, at St. Mary's Church in Remsen. The reception will immediately follow at the Avalon Ballroom in Remsen.

Amy is a 2004 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and expects to be a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in journalism and mass communication.

Josh is a 2002 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and 2006 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in construction engineering. He currently works as a field engineer for Massachusetts Electric and Kiewit Construction in Kansas City, Mo.
