Erin Knutson and Paul Miller of Waterloo announce their engagement and approaching marriage. Erin is the daughter of Jan Beck of Remsen and Paul is the son of Rosalyn and Melvin Miller of Ionia.

The couple is planning a May 24, 2008, wedding at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls with a reception to follow at the Maucker Union Ballroom on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa.

Erin is a graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High School and the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She is a special education teacher for Kittrell Elementary in the Waterloo School District.

Paul is a graduate of New Hampton High School and the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. He is employed with the Target Corporation at the Distribution Center in Cedar Falls.
