David and Suzanne Steichen of Remsen announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindy Marie Steichen to Steven Joseph Klein, son of Marlene and the late Donald Klein, of Remsen.

Mindy is a graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and Creighton University. She is currently employed as the marketing director for Romeo Entertainment Group in Omaha, Neb.

Steve graduated from Remsen St. Mary's High School and works at The Farmer's Co-op Elevator in Remsen.

The couple is planning a May 24, 2008, wedding at Remsen St. Mary's Church.
