Supervisor Craig Anderson emphasized that officials have the right to refuse any bids on the property, two offers for the property have been made.
One includes purchasing a little more than two acres of land and the home in the Crescent Ridge area for $180,000. The other offer is to purchase about 6.5 acres of the property for $200,000. That offer would include the house, all the buildings and all the trees in that area.
All offers must be in writing and presented to one of three offices: the Plymouth County auditor, the Le Mars city clerk or the Le Mars Business Initiative Corporation's office at 50 Central Ave. SE. Bids are due by 5 p.m. April 11.
If prospective buyers would like to look at the plans or the property, they can contact Neal Adler, director of the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce and the LBIC.
The parcels and structures in Crescent Ridge will be sold "as is."
The public hearing will be held in the city council chambers at Le Mars City Hall, 40 Central Ave. SE.
