Motorists driving on Iowa Highway 75 Le Mars bypass will need to watch for roadworkers as permanent seeding on that section of highway is scheduled to begin today (Monday) according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Sioux City Construction Office.
The work will involve seeding and final erosion control measures for the four lanes of Highway 75.
Part of this work will involve aerial seeding from a plane on the outside portions of the roadway. Traffic on Iowa 75 will be maintained at all times, but are urged to drive with caution and obey posted signs in the construction area.
Northwest Landscaping and Design, Inc. of Hull is the contractor for the $414,000 project. Completion is scheduled for the middle of August.
