Norman Charles Marienau, 82, of Hawarden, and formerly of Ireton,, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton with the Rev. Marcel Kohlmeyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon Friday, with the family present beginning at 5 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Porter Funeral Home of Ireton is in charge of arrangements.
