Greg and Lori Heeren, rural Akron, announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Marie Heeren, to Joshua Steven Rembe, son of Carol Rembe of Sergeant Bluff and Steven Rembe of Sioux City.

Angela's grandparents are Joann and Kervyn Heeren, rural Akron. Steve is the grandson of Dorothy Borchers of Le Mars.

The couple will be married in a 4 p.m. ceremony on April 12, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Akron, with a reception to follow at Hole N' The Wall, rural Akron.

Angela is a 2000 graduate of Akron-Westfield High School; a 2004 graduate of the University of South Dakota and a 2006 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed as marketing and foundation director at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Joshua is a 1997 Sergeant Bluff High School graduate and 2001 Morningside College graduate. He is currently employed as a park ranger at Clear Lake State Park in Clear Lake.
