Janora and Brad Korver

Janora Leigh Smith and Bradley Jay Korver were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2007, at Melbourne United Methodist Church, rural Merrill. The Rev. Peggy Ellingson officiated the 5 p.m. service.

The bride is the daughter of Allan and Peggy Smith of rural Merrill. The bridegroom is the son of Don and Marilyn Korver of rural Alton. Grandmothers of the bride are Blanche Dennler and Alberta Smith. Grandmother of the bridegroom is Allie Korver.

Providing the nuptial music was Kay Koch, organist; Abby Bogenrief, trumpeter; and Ron and Adri Smit, vocalists.

Kristin Marshall was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Becky Flannigan; Katie Jo Korver, sister of the bridegroom; and Ashley Feil. Flower girls were Maren Hettinga, cousin of the bridegroom; and Hailey Feil.

Tim Korver, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, with Nate Smith, brother of the bride; Bruce Korver, cousin of the bridegroom; and Tom Norling, as groomsmen. Colton Korver, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

Seating the wedding guests were Justin Morehouse and Jared Nickel.

Personal attendants were Casey Leonard and Dana Smith, cousins of the bride.

The reception dinner and dance followed at the Hinton Community Hall.

The bride is employed with Land O' Lakes as a dairy calf and heifer specialist and the bridegroom works with his father on the family dairy farm.

The couple is at home in rural Sheldon.
