Larry and Linda Hamer of Le Mars announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kristin, to Christopher Mason, both of Arlington, Texas. He is the son of Bill and Judy Mason of Arlington and Ann Mason of Rochester, N.Y.

The couple is planning a June 21, 2008, wedding at Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars.

Kristin graduated from the University of Iowa and is employed with the Arlington ISD as a third grade teacher.

Christopher attended Wichita State University and works as a technical recruiter.
