Donald and Marilyn Hoffman of rural Le Mars will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Feb. 17, with a 9 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church in Le Mars. An open house, hosted by their children, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. James Church in Le Mars. The couple requests no gifts, please.

The couple has six children, Ron and the late Cami Hoffman of Remsen, Sharon and Gary Fischer of Hinton, Rick and Leslie Hoffman of Le Mars, Randy and Jodi Hoffman of Le Mars, Terry and Christi Hoffman of Le Mars, and Lisa and Rick Weber of Alton. The have 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Donald Hoffman and the former Marilyn Bohlke were married Feb. 17, 1958, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars.
