Curt and Erin Ohrlund of Le Mars announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kjersten, to Michael Rathke, son of Gary and Judy Rathke of Rapid City, S.D.

The couple is planning a ceremony at the United Methodist Church in Vermillion, S.D., on May 24, 2008.

Kjersten is a 2004 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is currently pursuing her degree in music education at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

Michael is a 2004 graduate of Rapid City Central High School in Rapid City, S.D., and will complete his degree in piano and organ performance in May at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
